GFCU engaged The Carroll Center for the Blind's Accessibility Services team in 2019 to evaluate the accessibility of the GFCU public website. Testing included automated testing products (such as WebAIM's WAVE tool), and manual testing with multiple screen reading software applications, such as Job Access with Speech (JAWS 2019), NVDA, Talkback, and VoiceOver . It was tested with multiple web browsers (including Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, and Mozilla Firefox). The evaluation of the website's accessibility was based on standards established under the most current Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1 A & AA compliance levels).
