Greylock Federal Credit Union has announced it will be expanding community development programs with the help of $686,000 in grant funds from the Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFI) Fund. The CDFI Fund awards grants of up to $2 million to help certified CDFIs sustain and expand their products and services to low income communities and disadvantaged businesses. Greylock was certified as a CDFI in 2015 by the U.S. Treasury Department.

Greylock Federal Credit Union has announced the introduction of its new ChaChing app. The new free app works on Greylock Members’ Smartphones alerting them to a variety of perks, benefits, and discounts available at a range of merchants around Berkshire County. Using the GPS on Member’s phones, ChaChing sends mobile alerts off¬ering instant discounts whenever they are near participating merchants.

August 11, 2017 – PITTSFIELD – Greylock Federal Credit Union will offer a free class: “Basic Banking & Credit” on Saturday, August 19, from 11am to 1pm at Berkshire Children & Families, 480 West Street, Pittsfield during the monthly meeting of the Latino Family Support Group.

Greylock Federal Credit Union (GFCU) has announced the promotion of Mark Mancari to Assistant Vice President. Mancari came to Greylock in 2004 and has been Branch Manager of the Credit Union’s Elm Street location in Pittsfield since its opening in 2007.
