Community Enrichment Scholarship

Award

Greylock will award high school senior students from each public high school in Berkshire and Columbia Counties a $500 scholarship*, to be applied toward tuition at a state or nationally accredited two-or-four-year college/university. Greylock will also award two scholarships to high school seniors from Berkshire and Columbia Counties whom will enroll in a two-year program at an accredited technical, vocational or trade school.

Essay

• 300 words or less, typed, using Times New Roman 12-point font
• Header containing full name, contact information, and high school

Essay Topic

Choose one of the following:

1. Tell us a time when you participated in a project, activity or event that helped to make your community
   a better place and share your reason for your participation.
2. Describe when a person had an impact on your life and how it changed you.

Eligibility

Applicant must meet the following criteria:

• Member in good-standing with Greylock
• Demonstrate an outstanding level of community and volunteer work
• College/Technical/Vocational School-bound senior attending a public high school in Berkshire or Columbia County at the time of application

Application

To apply, fill out the Scholarship Application Form. Applications may be submitted in either hard copy or electronic format. Electronic submissions must be formatted as either a .PDF or Word document. Please no "Screen prints" or pictures or submissions in any other format. The application must be returned no later than Friday, April 10, 2026. Each school will be notified of the chosen scholarship recipient by Friday, May 1, 2026.

Publicity

Permission from the scholarship recipient will be requested to publicize name in press releases and published in local newspapers, Greylock newsletters, on Greylock's website and social media platforms.

*Greylock employees, volunteers, and their immediate family members are ineligible to win. All scholarship applications will be reviewed anonymously to ensure a fair and unbiased selection process.
