At Greylock, we believe that one's positive involvement in the community will help us all to thrive. The Greylock Community Enrichment Scholarship is awarded to students who exemplify positive community spirit and demonstrate respect and concern for their peers in everything they do. We recognize the value of a continuing education, and we also recognize the expense. Greylock Federal Credit Union's Community Enrichment annual scholarship can help.

Applications are closed for 2026. Each school will be notified of the chosen scholarship recipient by Friday, May 1, 2026.

Scholarship Details & Eligibility

Award

Greylock will award high school senior students from each public high school in Berkshire and Columbia Counties a $500 scholarship*, to be applied toward tuition at a state or nationally accredited two-or-four-year college/university. Greylock will also award two scholarships to high school seniors from Berkshire and Columbia Counties whom will enroll in a two-year program at an accredited technical, vocational or trade school.

Essay Topic

Choose one of the following:

Tell us a time when you participated in a project, activity or event that helped to make your community
a better place and share your reason for your participation.
Describe when a person had an impact on your life and how it changed you.

Eligibility

Applicant must meet the following criteria:

Member in good-standing with Greylock
Demonstrate an outstanding level of community and volunteer work
College/Technical/Vocational School-bound senior attending a public high school in Berkshire or Columbia County at the time of application

*Greylock employees, volunteers, and their immediate family members are ineligible to win. All scholarship applications will be reviewed anonymously to ensure a fair and unbiased selection process.
