April 16, 2014 – Pittsfield – Greylock Federal Credit Union announced the hiring of Michael Stoddard to serve on the Credit Union’s management team as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) beginning April 1, 2014.
Greylock President Marilyn L. Sperling said, “We are pleased to have a person with Mike’s experience joining the Greylock family. With his strong background in finance and strategy he will be an asset to our management team as Greylock continues its community mission of improving the financial lives of families in Berkshire County.”
Stoddard earned a B.S. in business administration from Franklin Pierce College. He has spent his 30-year career at two financial institutions: Concord Savings Bank in Concord, New Hampshire and Maine Bank & Trust in Portland, Maine (acquired by People’s United Bank in 2008). He has held many leadership roles including Chief Financial Officer and Head of Retail & Small Business Banking. Stoddard brings extensive experience to his new position including developing financial strategy, directing asset and liability management, budgeting, and overseeing regulatory interactions. He has served in numerous banking industry and community service positions including the Maine Banker’s Association legislative committee and with United Way of Greater Portland as a board member and 2010 Annual Campaign Chair. Stoddard is married and has two grown sons.
