September 29, 2014 – Pittsfield - Greylock Marketing Group (GMG) received two Gold Marketing awards for creative advertising campaigns at the 2nd Annual New England Financial Marketing Awards (NEMFAs) Gala. GMG is a full-service advertising agency and subsidiary of Greylock Federal Credit Union. The event was held September 24th at the Sheraton Hotel & Conference Center in Framingham, MA.
Marilyn L. Sperling, President of Greylock Federal Credit Union, said, “Once again GMG has shown its marketing expertise and creativity. I congratulate the team for being recognized in our industry for excellence. We at Greylock are very proud of their efforts.”
Greylock won a gold award for a complete marketing campaign and another for branding with the “Anywhere Banking” campaign they created for Greylock Federal Credit Union.
Vice President of Marketing Services for Greylock Marketing Group, Robert Maxwell said, “The ‘Anywhere Banking’ campaign utilized hand-drawn imagery and very fun copy, reminiscent of something you might have seen from Dr. Seuss, to promote the idea that Greylock’s e-services are as easy as ‘child’s play’ to use.”
Maxwell added, “It is always an honor to be recognized, especially by the New England financial marketing community where there is so much great work being done. Winning the NEMFAs is a terrific accomplishment and exemplifies the great teamwork and level of talent we have on board here at the Greylock Marketing Group.”
NEMFAs are the region's oldest and most respected awards for financial marketers. Participants were asked to submit detailed information on their submissions, quantifying results insuring that awards were given for substantive work, promoting important facets of the area's community banking institutions. All judging was done by independent professionals, knowledgeable about bank marketing issues and objectives.
