Greylock Federal Credit Union is excited to celebrate the fifth anniversary of its Hudson/Greenport, N.Y. branch beginning Monday, Nov. 2 through Saturday, Nov. 7.
Members of Greylock and the community are invited to bring family and friends to the branch, located at 464 Fairview Ave. to enjoy free giveaways, food and fun activities throughout the week.
As a thank you, members of the credit union will be automatically entered into a raffle for a $500 six-month term share certificate. Additionally, anyone who opens their first Greylock checking account, secures a debit card, signs up for digital banking and opts into eDocuments will be eligible to receive $200. Details and disclosures are listed at greylock.org.
The branch was opened in 2021 during the height of the COVID pandemic with a mission to more closely serve the more than 1,600 Columbia County, N.Y. residents who were already members of the credit union.
"Everyone at Greylock is looking forward to celebrating this important milestone for our signature branch in New York state," said JamieEllen Moncecchi, Senior Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer. "When we reflect on our opening five years ago, our focus centered on serving the people of Columbia County, both through our products and services and in the way we support the community's needs. Today, that commitment remains as strong as ever. We truly appreciate each and every one of our members and thank them for choosing us to be a part of their financial journey."
Samantha Petty joined Greylock in 2022 and became the branch manager in 2024.
"This five-year anniversary is a celebration of the people and relationships that have made our Hudson/Greenport branch such a special place. The connections we've built with our members over the years are what make this milestone so meaningful," said Petty. "As someone who cares deeply about this community, I'm proud to celebrate this anniversary with the members, businesses, and neighbors who make Columbia County such a wonderful place to call home. We're grateful for the trust our members have placed in us and look forward to welcoming new members, strengthening our community connections, and continuing to be a trusted resource for Columbia County for years to come."
