Associate Board Member Program
Greylock's Associate Board Member Program is designed to prepare future credit union leaders by providing meaningful exposure to board governance, strategic leadership, and community impact. As a member-owned financial cooperative, Greylock is committed to developing leaders who reflect the voices, needs, and future of the communities we serve.
About the Program
The Associate Board Member Program offers selected participants the opportunity to learn about credit union governance, board service, financial institution oversight, and strategic decision making. Associate Board Members will gain first-hand experience through board meeting observation, mentorship, and educational opportunities. This program is intended to build a strong pipeline of future volunteer leaders while supporting Greylock's long-term commitment to sound governance, diversity of thought, and community representation. The program will include up to three Associate Board Members in accordance with established term limits.
Who Should Apply
We are seeking individuals who are passionate about Greylock's mission and interested in learning more about board service.
Ideal candidates may include members who:
- Care deeply about the community
- Are interested in leadership, governance, or financial services
- Bring diverse perspectives, experiences, and backgrounds
- Are willing to commit time to learning and participating
- Want to help strengthen the future of the credit union movement
Prior board experience is not required.
