Greylock Federal Credit Union is offering two free workshops in June to help people interested in home ownership and personal budgeting.
"Preparing for Homeownership" will be presented at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, June 10 via Zoom. Attendees will learn about budgeting for extra expenses, building a strong credit history, improving credit, and the differences between owning a single-family home versus a duplex.
"Hacer un Presupuesto B sico" will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, June 22 at the Community Empowerment Center (CEC), located at 75 Kellogg St. in Pittsfield. Taught in Spanish, this class helps attendees create a plan to monitor spending and increase savings while setting short and long-term financial goals.
